This was a great day of learning the ins and outs of sailing in the Netherlands with my awesome skipper, Maarten. We sailed across lakes and through a canal with bridges we opened along the way. What an amazing experience and skipper Maarten is an incredible sailor who has a vast resume skippering all kinds of sailboats. Masrten is a brilliant man and our conversations were filled with interesting anecdotes of his experiences. He is also a kind and effective teacher. I am an experienced sailor I was amazed by how much I learned from him, but with his skills people with no sailing experience will have a great time just learning how to sail.
